I am pleased to welcome you to Old Dominion University's Center for 教师 Development. As a university dedicated to innovation in research, 教学, and scholarly activities, the Center furthers Old Dominion University's commitment to educational excellence. 教师 at all ranks will find resources at the Center to enhance their career planning and advancement. The Center provides opportunities for faculty to develop effective 教学 and learning strategies, participate in workshops aimed at promoting collegial conversations, and engage in forums to highlight faculty accomplishments.
Provost's Spotlight
The Fall 2023 Provost's Spotlight honored Dr. Yuping Liu-Thompkins, Department of Marketing. Dr. Yuping Liu-Thompkins, a marketing expert, is the founder of ODU's Loyalty Science Lab. 忠诚实验室, 有1,200 followers worldwide, conducts scientific research on brand and customer loyalty and collaborates with local companies. Dr. Liu-Thompkins has received numerous awards for her work, including the Strome College of Business 研究 Award. She has also been a visiting professor at several prestigious universities around the world, where she has gained valuable insights and experience. Dr. Liu-Thompkins is passionate about 教学 and connecting with students and the business community.
